A team of scientists and big-foot enthusiasts have apparently found irrefutable evidence that confirms the existence of a Yeti in the Russian Tundra regions.

According to a report by the Guardian, the team has found solid evidence that the Yeti exists, including footprints and possible hair samples. This could shed new light on the possible existence of the Yeti, often considered a mythical ape-like creature (also called Bigfoot or the Abominable Snowman).

In the past, there have been several accounts about the existence of this ape-like cryptid. However, most of these accounts have been considered nothing but folklore. There have also been reported prominent sightings in regions like Pennsylvania, Ape Canyon in Washington and certain parts of North America.

TIME magazine reported that the Kemerovo (an industrial city in Russia) government announcement on Oct. 10 that a two-day expedition to the region's Azassky cave and Karatag peak areas collected irrefutable evidence of the creature's existence.

The group is also said to have recovered what is presumed to be the creature's bed and other markers indicative of its existence.
