One week after going viral with a cover of Nicki Minaj's Super Bass, Sophia Grace Brownlee, in her princess best, got to meet her idol on an episode of Ellen.

The 8-year-old was joined by her cousin Rosie, 5, who appeared in the original YouTube video, which has been seen by more than 7 million people.

We love pink, and we like the fluffy dress, Brownlee told Ellen DeGeneres before the big surprise.

Brownlee, who flew in all the way from the UK, did most of the talking during the interview. The young singer even spoke in an American accent, complete with all the attitude in the world.

We learned [the song] in about a week, but really we picked up the words in like two days, Brownlee added.

As with most Ellen shows, the talk show host brought out Minaj, 28, as a last-minute surprise. The meeting, accompanied by high squeals and jumps from Brownlee, brought the studio audience to tears.

Within five seconds of seeing this video, I was calling everyone I knew and I was receiving a billion e-mails . . . she blew me away, Minaj said on the show, before requesting Brownlee to perform the bridge of Super Bass.

We feel like we are watching a journey that's about to be amazing. Stay in school. Music is beautiful. But I want you to stay in school, OK? Put your books first and singing second, Minaj told her young fan.

Since its May release, Super Bass has sold more than two million digital copies in the U.S. alone. The music video has gained more than 150 million viewers on YouTube.

Minaj's debut studio album, Pink Friday, has sold more than 1.5 million copies in the U.S., earning a platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
