Herman Cain wants you to know he's not dead yet -- and in the coming months, he will be embarking on a bus tour to promote the catchy 9-9-9 tax plan that drew many voters to his presidential campaign before a series of sexual harassment allegations brought it down.

I started a new movement, Cain said in an appearance on Fox News' Hannity Show on Wednesday. The biggest comment I got when I ended my candidacy was to keep 9-9-9 alive. That's what this is about, and I'm going to keep it alive with what I'm calling Cain's Solutions Revolution.

The bus tour fits with Cain's somewhat bombastic streak. He likes to coin catchy phrases and self-centered initiatives -- I have a bus with my picture on it, he told Hannity, grinning -- and he has a tendency to overestimate his influence.

When he suspended his campaign in early December, Cain vowed that he would not shut up, drop out and go away, but use his newfound fame to continue to promote his platform. He directed voters then to a Web site called TheCainSolutions.com, which he said would go live soon but still has not, and he has fallen almost completely out of the public eye since then.

Now he is promoting a different Web site, CainConnections.com, which is almost identical to his former campaign Web site. It offers Herman's Featured Solution of the Week (9-9-9: The Revolution, of course -- and does anyone think that will change next week?) and invites people to sign up to Get Connected as a Solutions Patriot.

They think we are stupid, he says in a video on the Web site. (The identity of the they was unclear -- perhaps the Democratic machine he was so fond of blaming for the harassment scandal?) You know what comes after a tea party? A revolution. It's time for history to repeat itself. We the people are coming and we want our power back. Welcome to the solutions revolution.

He told Hannity that the goal of his planned bus tour is to get members of Congress to pledge to support tax-reform legislation based on the 9-9-9 plan: a 9 percent personal income tax, 9 percent corporate tax and 9 percent national sales tax.
