Super Bowl 2012
Super Bowl 2012: Who will Win? NBCSports/NFL

Super Bowl 2012 kicks off on Sunday, Feb. 5, with the NFC Champion New York Giants (12-7) and AFC Champion New England Patriots (15-3) facing off for the Lombardi Trophy.

Over 100 million Americans will be watching Tom Brady and Eli Manning battle it out in Super Bowl XLVI, the biggest game of the season, which is billed as the rematch of Super Bowl XLII in 2008, when the Giants ended New England's bid for a perfect season with a 17-14 upset victory.

Tom Brady and Co. will enter Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. on Sunday with the aim of seeking revenge for that 2008 loss.

No wonder, Sunday's game promises to be a classic, on paper at least.

Kickoff Time:

The game will kickoff on Sunday at Feb. 5 at 6.30pm (EST) or 3.30pm (PST). Pre-game coverage begins at 2pm (EST) or 11am (PST).

Where to Watch Super Bowl 2012 Live Coverage:

The game will be aired live online in the U.S. for the first time legally. You can watch the game live for free on NBC, which is the broadcast partner for this year's game.

The Super Bowl can be watched online at NBCSports.com or NFL.com.

How to Watch Super Bowl 2012 Live Coverage:

The big game can be watched on any laptop or desktop PC via live streaming. However, all smartphones won't be supported as only Verizon has secured the exclusive rights this year for streaming Super Bowl on mobile devices.

Verizon is the exclusive mobile partner of NFL and if you're interested in watching Super Bowl 2012 on your mobile device, you'll need to download the free NFL Mobile Premium app by Verizon Wireless. The app gives you access to live games, NFL RedZone and the 24/7 NFL Network. If you're a 4G LTE customer, no separate data plan is necessary but 3G users have to pay $10 per month data plan to watch live video streams. And yes, it will work with Verizon phones.

Canadian fans can watch the game via Bell's mobile apps.

NBCSports.com has teamed up with NFL to offer an All Access page where you can watch the entire game live as well as pre-game action. The game will be streamed live (HD-quality) and fans will be able to watch the game from multiple camera angles. The DVR-like functionality to pause and replay the action and a number of social features are an added bonus.

Live streaming should work for tablets too, such as iPad and Galaxy Tab, via the device's built-in Web browser.

The Giants and the Patriot can also be followed via their official apps for iOS and Android OS-powered devices.

The Giants app offers real-time news, on-demand videos, stats, photo galleries and streams Big Blue-related tweets. The app is synced with Facebook and Twitter, allowing you to update your social networking profiles from the app.

The Patriots app is the go-to app for New England fans who crave news, videos, stats, scores and video and audio streams about their favorite team.

You can also follow your favorite teams - New York Giants and New England Patriots - on Twitter. Craving for more? Check out the official Super Bowl XLVI Twitter page.

And, now for the big question - can NBC or NFL handle the online audience? NBC says yes. The stream is based on Microsoft Silverlight, will have a maximum resolution of 720p. If your screen can't support that resolution, it will automatically adjust the resolution into something your screen can handle so that there is no buffering.

However, if the stream quality goes down, simply refresh and hope for the best. And, if the server crashes, all you can do is pray.

As for those who are on a dial-up plan (God forbid!) that can't handle live streaming, don't fret - you can get live play-by-play information on Sunday on ESPN Super Bowl Central.

Or even better, go and watch the game on your telly - click here to find your local station.

Finally, if you're in the mood for some betting, you'll be better off knowing that bookers are favoring the Patriots for a win. According to the AP, the Glantz-Culver line has favored the Patriots to win by 3.5 points, with an over/under of 55.5 points.

According to Oddssharks, the Patriots are favored to win, by between 2.5 and 3 points, the over/under being set at around 54.

And, don't forget to watch American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson belt out the national anthem while Madonna and Cirqque du Soliel headline the halftime entertainment.

So grab some popcorns and sodas, call over your friends over and have a blast!
