Bola Adebisi, a 52-year-old Nigerian woman, was arrested on suspicion of ingesting 180 thumb-sized heroin pellets, which customs officials said was the largest seizure at Washington Dulles International Airport.

Authorities told the media that the 180 pellets were filled with nearly five pounds of heroin and worth $150,000.

The Associated Press reported that she has been charged with drug smuggling in federal court.

Reports are that court documents show that Adebisi arrived from Nigeria on March 14 on board Ethiopian Airlines flight 500.

Adebisi told customs officers that she was going stay with her brother. However, she allegedly couldn't tell officers where her brother live, neither give a description of him nor tell his phone number, WUSA9 reported.

After a routine pat down, a customs officer was suspicious that Adebisi's stomach was abnormally rigid. An X-ray then revealed the pellets. The woman was taken to the hospital thereafter.

The second largest seizure of this sort was on March 30, 2011 when Yomade Aborishade of Lagos, Nigeria, was arrested for 100 pellets of heroin. That number of pellets was more than four pounds, according the AP.
