Lady Gaga is the perfect exemplification of From rags to riches as she was spotted driving her new car: a silver Audi R8 GT on Wednesday in Beverly Hills.

Almost immediately after paparazzi photos began to circulate of the mother monster in her new hot rod, we love gaga's new car became a trending topic on Twitter, sparking worldwide interest.

Lady Gaga was wearing gold hoop earrings and Chanel sunglasses while driving in Beverly Hills with an unidentified female friend.

Gaga's choice of car, the Audi R8 GT, is priced between $196,800 and $210,300 depending on the features, according to Motor Trend, and burns a quarter mile of gas in about 11.5 seconds. And it goes up to 200 mph for a top speed.

Lady Gaga, 26, is one of 333 owners of the supercar, as only a small amount of the specialty sportscar were made.

According to The Sun, Gaga usually drives a classic red Corniche soft top.

The purchase is monumental for Gaga who typically doesn't purchase flashy items, aside from her clothing.

The only big things I've purchased are my dad's heart valve and a Rolls-Royce for my parents, for their anniversary, she said. And that was only because my dad had a Lady Gaga licence plate on our old car and it was making me crazy because he was followed everywhere, so I bought him a new car.

Born Stefani Germanotta, Lady Gaga grew up in a middle class family before ditching her family's duplex on the Upper West Side of Manhattan to pursue her music career, according to a feature on the Mother Monster in New York Magazine.

Gaga was one of the only students with a job after school, as a waitress at a diner on the Upper West Side, according to New York Magazine. With her early paychecks, she bought a Gucci purse. 'I was so excited because all the girls at Sacred Heart always had their fancy purses, and I always had whatever,' she says. 'My mom and dad were not buying me a $600 purse.'

After a stint at NYU, Gaga ditched school for music.

I left my entire family, got the cheapest apartment I could find, and ate shit until somebody would listen, she told New York Magazine, adding it was a studio underneath a liquor store in the Lower East Side.

Sometimes it freaks me out when I think about laying in my apartment [in New York] with bedbugs and roaches on the floor and mirrors with cocaine everywhere, and no will or interest in doing anything but making music and getting high, she told Neil Strauss in his book Everyone Loves You When You Are Dead.

Looks like the Audi R8 GT is a well-deserved treat for Lady Gaga.
