“The Bachelor” put Waukesha, Wisconsin, on the map during Season 21, episode 4. Following the fourth rose ceremony, the 15 remaining contestants headed to Nick Viall’s hometown to meet the parents and get to know the ABC reality star better.

The Rose Ceremony

The show kicks off with an elimination, as it has for four weeks. During the elimination, 15 roses were given out, meaning two women would be sent packing. One by one names are called and, as the pile dwindles, so does some of the cast members’ hope. With one rose left Chris Harrison magically appears to remind everyone what’s at stake. Much to the dismay of Jaimi, Taylor, Vanessa and many other “Bachelor” hopefuls, Nick calls Corinne to stand before him and accept the final rose. She does so gleefully, though it’s clear that the rest of the room isn’t feeling the same joy.

Christen and Brittany are sent packing with tears in their eyes and disappointment in their hearts. In a final interview, Christen — whom has become a favorite among many members of Bachelor Nation — shares the high hopes she had for finally finding love. Through tears she reveals that she has never told anyone she loved them before saying goodbye to her “Bachelor” co-stars and the mansion she has been calling home for four weeks.

After the eliminated girls are sent home, Chris announces big plans for the rest of the Season 21 cast. They are headed out of the Bachelor mansion to “travel the world.” Their first stop? Nick’s hometown in Wisconsin. The remaining contestants let out a cheer, knowing how much hometown dates tend to affect the fate of “Bachelor” contestants.

The First One-On-One

After touching down in America’s dairyland, the ladies learn that one of them will be heading out on a date with Nick. Danielle L. is chosen and is elated — at least, that’s what her repeated giggles suggest. She and Nick take a stroll through Waukesha, stopping in at a coffee shop to make some unique “Bachelor” themed treats. While walking around after their romantic and frosting-filled date, the pair run into one of Nick’s ex-girlfriends. She stops them and opens the floor to Danielle L., allowing her to get to know Nick on a different level.

From there Nick and Danielle L. head to a bar for cocktails and conversation. During their sit down Danielle L. gets candid with Nick about her parents divorce and how it’s affected the way she approaches relationships. She explains that her parents were very much in love until one day her dad filed for divorce, which seems to strike a chord with Nick. She shares with Nick a desire to find that “perfect” romance and to avoid the same fate as her mother and father.

In an impeccably timed romantic gesture, Nick whisks Danielle L. from the bar to a nearby venue, where Chris Lane is playing a romantic song and the crowd is going wild for the “Bachelor” pair. After high-fiving everyone in attendance, Nick and Danielle L. take to the stage where they share a dance and lots of kisses.

The Group Date

While Danielle L. was being fed sweet treats and serenaded, the rest of the “Bachelor” cast learns they’re headed out on a group date with Nick the next day. What they don’t know is exactly what they’ll be doing. They arrive the next day on a dairy farm to do “farm chores.” Naturally, none of them are dressed for the occasion but they’re ready to get down and dirty for their man — most of them, anyway.

Corinne, who claimed she was anything but privileged early in the episode, looks on and complains while her competition milks cows and shovels their poop in the name of winning Nick’s heart. She eventually decides she can no longer bare to be in the barn and takes a seat on a rock just outside, which obviously doesn’t sit well with the rest of the “Bachelor” cast.

Cocktail Party Drama

Following a long day on the farm, Nick and his ladies get dressed in their Sunday best and enjoy a few drinks while attempting to share a little alone time with Nick. Once again, Corinne steals the show during the event, though it wasn’t with her aggressive attempts to get attention. Instead, she becomes the topic of discussion amongst her co-stars. The ladies complain about her lack of effort during the date and her sense of entitlement. While Corinne isn’t part of these conversations, she is listening nearby.

After hearing her co-stars unfavorable opinions of her, Corinne decides to confront the issue head on. She sits down with the “Bachelor” cast and defends herself, talking in circles and leaving most of her co-stars more confused than they initially were about her intentions. She then runs off to find Nick in the hopes of speaking to him before anyone else could speak ill of her to him. Nick seems proud of her as she shares with him the way in which she — in her own mind — put and end to the drama going on around her. She heads back to the group feeling safe, but will it last?

After speaking with Corinne, Nick spends time with the other remaining cast members. He and Vanessa cuddle under a blanket outside and she presents him with a heartwarming gift from her students and co-staff. The chemistry between the two is, once again, undeniable.

The Second One-On-One

At the same time it was revealed to the cast who would be going on a group date with Nick, Raven learns that she’s been selected to go on a one-on-one date with “The Bachelor.” She’s elated for a number of reasons. The Southern belle shares with viewers that she’s glad to finally get to spend some time with Nick away from her co-stars and is doubly excited that it was her, not Corinne, who was chosen.

For their date, Nick takes Raven to his little sister’s soccer game. The pair warm up with the team before taking to the sidelines to be their personal cheering squad. Nick makes sure to take some time to bring Raven to meet his parents, who seem to like her, though his dad does awkwardly comment on her “unusual” name.

After the game Nick, Raven and the team head to a skating rink for pizza, roller skating and fun. Raven gets a moment alone with Nick’s little sister, who is hopeful that Raven will one day be her sister-in-law. She drills the “Bachelor” contestant about liking big families and kids, assuring her that there are “a lot” in the Viall family. Nick swoops in to steal Raven for a solo skate, during which they share an adorable kiss.

Nick leaves the date aware that Raven could be a front-runner. She, too, seems to be falling for him and repeatedly tells viewers she “can’t believe” it.

Corinne And Taylor Face Off

As the show continues, Corinne wears more and more on her co-stars and they’re not quiet about it. Taylor, who makes a living as a mental health professional, begins psychoanalyzing Corinne and that doesn’t sit well with the Miami native. Corinne confronts her, but it looks like things won’t get truly ugly in Season 21, episode 5.

“The Bachelor” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
