Ben Higgins may want to keep his social media activity in check. Following the 2016 premiere of ABC’s “The Bachelor” Monday night, former “Bachelorette” star Kaitlyn Bristowe offered some advice to the Season 20 lead.

Kaitlyn and her fiancé, Season 11 contestant Shawn Booth, made an appearance on “Bachelor Live” Monday. The 30-year-old reality star revealed that she gave her former suitor some advice before he left find love on the long-running ABC show. Her biggest piece of advice, however, came on-air during the special.

When host Chris Harrison asked Kaitlyn and Shawn about the rumors regarding their personal lives, including pregnancy, wedding and breakup speculation, Kaitlyn suggested they laugh off the rumors in a Shapchat story. Harrison jokingly told the pair they should probably “stay off Snapchat,” which lead to Kaitlyn offering Ben some sound advice.

“Yeah, by the way, stay off Snapchat,” she told Ben, 27, while lovingly touching his shoulder.

As most “Bachelor” fans will remember, Kaitlyn accidentally revealed Shawn as her winner in a Snapchat video prior to the conclusion of her season of “The Bachelorette.” The clip, which went viral, showed Shawn and Kaitlyn in bed together.

“We were sending Snaps to one of the producers,” Kaitlyn explained of the mishap on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in July 2015. “[And then] I pick up my phone to go on Twitter, and there’s hundreds of pictures of my stupid face laying in bed with her," Shawn added. "I started having a panic attack. I couldn't even breathe."

No matter what advice Kaitlyn and Sean offer to Ben, he said on "Bachelor Live" that he’s been grateful for their words of wisdom.

“They’ve been great,” Ben said. “I think just even when they haven’t talked to me directly, as they’ve talked to people through press or through different interviews, it was encouraging even from a distance.”

"The Bachelor" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
