Well, things are going to get awkward on Monday night’s episode of “Bachelor in Paradise.” Nick Viall made his grand entrance on Season 3 of the ABC reality show after losing Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of “The Bachelorette” in 2015, and Andi Dorfman’s season in 2014. The unlucky in love 35 year old seemed interested in forging a relationship with single mom Amanda Stanton from Ben Higgins’ season of “The Bachelor,” however, he’s got competition in episode 2. His arch nemesis from Andi’s season, Josh Murray, is joining “Paradise.”

Nick and Josh have quite the long history. The two battled it out for Andi’s heart throughout the entire season. Ultimately it came down to the two men in the finale. And unfortunately for Nick, his dream fairytale ending with Andi was crushed when she decided to choose Josh.

In the emotional final episode, Andi introduced Nick to her parents. It was there that Nick asked Andi’s dad, Hy, for permission to marry her. Hy gave Nick his blessing, but Andi didn’t even give him a chance to get down on one knee. She went to Nick’s room prior to the rose ceremony and broke things off with him.

“The last time you got engaged you woke up that morning and you didn’t feel like something was right,” Andi told Nick. “And I woke up this morning and didn’t feel like something was right. And I can’t go through with something that I don’t think is right … that the feeling is not right.”

Nick wasn’t just heart broken. He told the cameras that he thought Andi “took things too far,” and confronted her about that on the “After The Final Rose” special. He revealed on television that the two of them “made love,” a comment that upset Andi.

“I didn’t have any expectations of that night,” he said. “But to me, that night was fiancé type of stuff. That meant so much to me and I told you that. It wasn’t … It meant something. It meant the world to me. I’ve had to play that in my mind over and over.”

Josh, who proposed to Andi during the final rose ceremony, said that Nick’s comment was “classless” and “disrespectful.”

“He’s of no concern to us,” Josh told reporters during a press call following the episode.

Although Andi and Josh survived Nick, they never got a chance to walk down the aisle. The pair announced their split in January 2015, with Andi telling “The Bachelorette” host Chris Harrison that the two “struggled for a while.”

Nick and Josh will come face to face in episode 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise” when Josh joins the Season 3 cast in Sayulita, Mexico. And just like on “The Bachelorette,” the two men will be fighting over the same girl. A preview of Monday’s installment reveals that Josh, 31, will set his eyes on Amanda.

Catch “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 3 when it airs on ABC on Monday at 8 p.m. EDT.
