Who will be the next star of “The Bachelorette”? ABC doesn’t normally announce the name of the lucky lady until the “After the Final Rose” special, however reports are circulating that the network has already narrowed down the options.

According to Us Weekly, a source confirmed that one of the final four women from Ben Higgins’ season of “The Bachelor” will be the star of “The Bachelorette” Season 12. If that insider is correct, then that means that Amanda Stanton, Caila Quinn, Lauren Bushnell and JoJo Fletcher are the frontrunners for the coveted leading role.

Currently Lauren and JoJo are the last two contestants in the running for Ben’s heart. Both women confessed their love for the 27-year-old software salesman during the fantasy suite dates in episode 9, and in a shocking twist, Ben told each of the ladies that the feeling was mutual. However, a “Sister Wives” ending is not in the cards for the hit ABC reality show. Ben confirmed on “Good Morning America” this week that he is engaged to one of the final two women.

As for the other contestants allegedly in the running for “The Bachelorette”? Single mom Amanda welcomed Ben into her heart, and introduced him to her two young daughters. While things went smoothly on their hometown date, Ben ultimately realized that he had a stronger connection with the other women remaining. He sent her home during the post-hometown date rose ceremony, which turned out to be one of the most emotional goodbyes of the entire season.

Caila was the most recent elimination. Like Lauren and JoJo, Caila also confessed to Ben during their fantasy suite date that she was in love with him. However, he couldn’t say it back. It wasn’t until he went out on his dates with Lauren and JoJo that he realized he had to send Caila home.

But Ben didn’t have to wait until the rose ceremony to send Caila packing. The contestant wanted to surprise Ben at his hotel room, but she ended up being the one surprised when Ben confessed that he was in love with the other two women. Caila left broken hearted, but “The Bachelor” blogger Reality Steve suggests that she won’t be crying over Ben for too long. He revealed on Twitter Thursday night that sources “confirmed” to him that Caila will be the next star of “The Bachelorette.”

This coming Monday Ben will have to face all his exes on the “Women Tell All” special, but the following week his decision regarding Lauren and JoJo will be revealed during the finale of “The Bachelor.” Tune in to ABC at 8 p.m. EST to catch all the drama.
