“The Bachelor” took viewers on an emotional journey in episode 8. Ben Higgins, star of the ABC reality series, visited each of the four remaining women to meet their family and decide if he could move forward with their relationship. After much thought, Ben decided to eliminate Amanda Stanton, the single mother from Orange County, California. It was a decision that left him in tears at the end of the episode, especially since she brought her two young daughters into the equation.

Amanda took to Instagram following the episode to comment on her elimination. And although she was initially upset that Ben didn’t tell her sooner, it seems as if she’s not harboring any ill feelings towards the 27-year-old software salesman. Amanda wrote that despite not finding love on “The Bachelor,” she still has a lot left to give.

“The amount of love and support ya’ll have shown me and my family week after week has completely BLOWN my mind!” she wrote in the caption. “I was brought to tears tonight reading everything.”

Fans of “The Bachelor” are already campaigning for the 25-year-old esthetician to become the next star of “The Bachelorette.” In fact, Amanda’s ex-husband and father of her two children, Nick Buonfiglio, also believes she would make a great “Bachelorette.”

“I think she has a good story, and she’s been very genuine and sweet,” Nick told Us Weekly. “There’s a lot of single mothers out there – I think they can all relate to her story … It’s probably something I wouldn’t watch! But do I think she would make a good ‘Bachelorette,’ absolutely.”

And he’s not alone. Kaitlyn Bristowe, star of last season of “The Bachelorette,” also thinks that Amanda should get cast as the next leading lady. Check out some fan reactions below:
