Cindy Crawford and her lookalike daughter Kaia Gerber turned heads at the launch of Balmain x H&M collection in Los Angeles Thursday. All eyes were on the mother-daughter duo as they attended the event. The teen was a splitting image of her supermodel mom.

Cindy rocked an all-black look in tight leather pants with a shiny black top and evening jacket with gold buttons and a matching black belt with gold embellishment from the range. She opted for a natural make-up with defined eyebrows and pale lipstick. Her brunette tresses were left loose over her shoulders, kept in center-part and styled in waves. The supermodel teamed her outfit with pointed toe suede ankle-length boots.

Her 14-year-old daughter Kaia wowed in the label’s white and black beaded dress from the hotly anticipated collection, which launched Thursday morning. Kaia’s bodycon dress featured long sleeves and high neck.

Kaia was Cindy’s mini-me and showed off her endless legs in the mini dress. She wore similar make-up to her mom and her long brunette tresses were styled into tumbling waves. The teen also flaunted her black manicure and accessorized with a chunky ring.

Balmain took to its official Twitter account and thanked the duo for attending the launch.

Kaia, who bagged her first modeling contract with IMG Models in July, has featured on the cover of Vogue Italia July issue. Cindy and her entrepreneur husband Rande Gerber’s daughter completed her look with a pair of black ankle-length boots.

The brunette made her modeling debut at the age of 10 for Young Versace. It was in 2012 that she modeled the children’s line, the shoot for which was done by Peggy Sirota. The photographs appeared in Teen Vogue along with an interview.

At IMG, she joined a host of models that include Candice Swanepoel, Miranda Kerr and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to name a few. The youngster has got a career head start on her famous mother, now 49, who was discovered age 16 by a local newspaper photographer and started modelling in earnest a year later.

Earlier, during an interview on The Thick, Cindy opened up about Kaia’s blossoming career as a model, confessing that while she initially didn’t want her daughter to start until she was 17, she is happy to “provide a road map and help you make good choices” in her career. She added that Kaia loved Kendall Jenner as a model.
