Excited to drive the Batmobile in “Batman: Arkham Knight?” We sure are.

Rocksteady Studios recently tweeted a photo of some Batmobile gameplay, showing the Dark Knight using the eject move in his famous vehicle.

The screenshot shows the superhero being catapulted from the Batmobile – the tweet claiming this will give him the ability to “glide across the skyline of Gotham.”

We’re definitely excited to drive the Batmobile for the first time in the game series. On April 1, Rocksteady played a cruel, cruel April Fool’s joke, claiming players will be able to fly the Batwing. The developer later revealed it to be a hoax, leaving many gamers disappointed.

The developer has remained mum about who the “Arkham Knight” is, but a possible plot twist may have been leaked for “Arkham Knight” via Twitter. Retail store Best Buy created a post on March 30 about the coming action-adventure game, saying, “Masked as Bruce Wayne’s son, drive the Batmobile & defend the city from notorious villains.” The tweet has since been deleted, but it remained viewable until April 3.

Of course, the tweet could have been posted in error. Perhaps the writer meant Thomas Wayne’s son, which would be Bruce Wayne. If not, this could mean users will be playing Damian Wayne, the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul, the daughter of Batman’s villain Ra’s al Ghul. Both plots are possible and would coincide with the “Father to Son” trailer, which launched March 4.

“Batman: Arkham Knight” will launch this fall for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
