“Batman: Arkham Knight” is set to launch for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this October, but according to U.K. video game magazine GamesMaster, the title is only about 40 percent complete. Though London-based Rocksteady Studios hasn’t confirmed this, players are somewhat alarmed by the rumor, since the game is scheduled to hit shelves in five months.

In the issue, game director and writer Sefton Hill revealed more details about some of the game’s features, weapons and superhero abilities.

“Fear takedowns work if you have up to three enemies in a location and you can creep up on them without being seen, you can chain three takedowns together at once,” Hill explained. “It’s a nice switch up because now you can isolate groups of up to three. But the twist is you need to be able to sneak up on them without being seen, so you need to think of new ways to creep up, not just rely on sneaking up for a silent takedown.”

“Batman at the very peak of his powers,” Hill reassured fans. However, this doesn’t mean facing enemies won’t be a challenge to the Dark Knight. “The two aren’t out of sync,” he adds.

“When we made the enemies more powerful, we made Batman more powerful as well in order to take on this increased threat,” Hill said.

Hill also stated that players “will still have that lovely vulnerability of Batman. If you stand up in front of guys with guns you’re going to get shot to pieces. So that lovely balance between the power of Batman, but also the vulnerability, is definitely very much still there.”

"Arkham Knight" will be a single-player game and the fourth installment in the series. It is set to be the final chapter in the “Arkham” games.

Kevin Conroy, 58, will return as the voice of Batman. Conroy also portrayed the Dark Knight in “Batman: Arkham Asylum” and “Batman: Arkham City.”

"The real challenge is making sure you're getting the best out of the machines. It's easy to get the game running, but it's about, 'What can we do that really pushes those machines?'" Hill told GameInformer in last month’s issue. "Obviously, you see a lot of games that are cross-gen, and they feel a bit reined in because of that. Because we were able to make that decision quite early, we were able to be more ambitious with the design and make a real, genuine next-gen game."

This is the first game in the series that will allow users to drive the Batmobile, an experience that will undoubtedly be pretty awesome. In the game, the Batmobile will be nearly invincible -- it will have the ability to perform burnouts, jumps and boosts -- while simultaneously being bulletproof.

“Basically … nothing stops the Batmobile. It’s pretty much an unstoppable force,” said Hill. “When you think Batman, you do think Batmobile. It’s the one key thing that we’ve really felt that we always wanted to do.” Like the angst-ridden hero, you'll be able to call the Batmobile by pressing a button. You can also eject yourself from the vehicle at high speed.
