For those of you blindsided by Ben Affleck's casting as Batman in the "Batman Vs. Superman," you just may have a new casting choice to protest.

On Friday, the resident bad boy of pop music, Justin Bieber, posted a photo to to his Instagram account of the, purported, David S. Goyer and Zack Snyder script for the sequel to "Man of Steel." He included the hashtag #Robin with the post.

It seems like a pretty unlikely stretch for the Biebs to star in the highly anticipated film. But Batman fans are already buzzing with their distaste for even the possibility of him taking on the role of the Caped Crusader's iconic sidekick. It has yet to be confirmed if the script in the photo is the real deal. Judging from a earlier post on his Twitter account, hinting that he may be doing something for Funny or Die, it is likely a casting false alarm.

"Batman Vs. Superman" will star "Man of Steel's" Henry Cavill in the role of Superman and Affleck as the Dark Knight. Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane have also been announced as returning members of the cast. The film is expected to start shooting at the beginning of next year and will be released on July 17, 2015.
