When and Where: The Bundesliga match between Bayern Munich and Hannover 96 at the Allianz Arena kicks off on Saturday at 10.30 a.m. EDT. A live stream is available via ESPN3.

Preview: After Bayern scored 20 goals in its previous three matches, it was halted in its rampaging run by Gladbach in the DFB-Pokal on Wednesday.

After 120 minutes of scoreless action, Bayern progressed to the final on penalties. The toll of that match could be evident against Hannover on Saturday.

With the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal against Marseille to come on Wednesday, boss Juup Heynckes may decide to rotate his lineup.

Hannover come into the match on the back of two impressive victories that has seen the club progress to the quarterfinals of the Europa League and close in on a return to European competition next season.

And Hannover manager Mirko Slomka has taken heart from Gladbach's performance against Bayern and believes his side can go one better on Saturday.

I watched their game against Gladbach, and there are certainly a few things we can learn from it, Slomka said, according to Hannover's official website.

We have to try and improve on what Gladbach did, and that means scoring against them.

Team News: Bastian Schweinsteiger remains sidelined for Bayern, who otherwise have no fresh injury concerns.

If Heynckes does start with the same lineup that played against Gladbach, then he will be hoping Bayern can get a comfortable lead, so he can make changes in the second half.

There are no new worries injurywise for Hannover. Despite missing training on Thursday, Sergio Pinto has been deemed fit to play.

Prediction: After losing two straight matches to Hannover, Bayern knows it cannot take its foot off the pedal on Saturday.

There could well be some sluggishness in the Bayern legs, however, and Heynckes likely won't get the comfortable afternoon he craves against an in-form Hannover side. But the home side should hang on for the win.
