Ben Affleck is ready to move into his new home in Los Angeles.

Just recently, the “Batman v Superman” star purchased a new property amid his divorce from “13 Going On 30” star Jennifer Garner. A source close to the couple told People that Affleck’s biggest priority is his kids. “They want to be sure the kids are comfortable. He’s moving fairly close by and it’s all in step with what they’ve always said was the most important thing: their children,” the source said.

Garner and Affleck announced their separation in June 2015, but the actor still stayed in the guest house in their family’s home in Los Angeles so he could spend time with his children. It was only on April 13 of this year that they officially filed for divorce. An insider told People last month, “They always planned to divorce despite what people said. If you look at their first statement it says divorce not separate. They just did it the way they wanted to and did what was best for the kids. There was no catalyst, it was just time. Nothing has changed, they are and still will be putting their kids first.”

The estranged couple has been working with leading divorce attorney Laura Wasser on their divorce. The attorney has worked with several A-list celebrities, namely, Angelina Jolie, Kim Kardashian and Johnny Depp. Garner and Affleck were married for 10 years before they shocked their family, friends, loved ones and fans of their decision to go their separate ways.

“After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding,” they said in a joint statement in 2015.

Meanwhile, there were rumors suggesting that Garner separated from Affleck because the actor was caught cheating with his children’s nanny. But the “Alias” star told Vanity Fair that it is only her and Affleck who know what really happened. “We still have to help each other get through this. He’s still the only person who really knows the truth about things. And I’m still the only person that knows some of his truths,” she said.

When asked if she’s already open to dating other men, Garner hinted on the fact that she may not yet be ready. She recounted a time when a fellow JetBlue passenger asked if he could take her out to coffee, and she refused. “I guess, I don’t know. It’s just that from everyone that I know that is dating it just seems, well… Men don’t call anymore… I want flowers; I don’t want to text. What does that make me? What kind of dinosaur am I?” she joked.

Garner was previously married to “Scandal” star Scott Foley from 2000 to 2004. Affleck, on the other hand, dated Jennifer Lopez and Gwyneth Paltrow, but he only got married to Garner in 2005.
