In addition to performing during the halftime show Sunday, Beyoncé will also sit for a Super Bowl halftime show news conference at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center Thursday, Nola.com reports.
The singer is expected to face questions about her recent lip-syncing pseudo-controversy, that she mouthed to a pre-recorded track during her performance at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration, for which she has currently remained silent.
Other news outlets suggest she may give details or on her set-list for the half time show, or may talk about upcoming singles or an album.
However, Beyoncé seems to currently be in complete Super Bowl mode. The singer has been in New Orleans since last week practicing for her performance at the Alario Center in Westwego. Now a social media maven, she shared several photos of her rehearsals on her Tumblr and Twitter pages.
She also shared a promo photo of herself in a sexy referee costume posing in a Heisman stance.
Among the anticipation for Beyoncé’s performance is the speculation that she will reunite with her fellow Destiny’s Child members, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, in order to perform their new single “Nuclear.”
Williams recently expressed in an interview that she would not be available to perform for the Super Bowl, as she is a member of the cast of the musical “Fela!” The musical is set to have two performances on Super Bowl Sunday at the Shakespeare Theatre Company's Sidney Harman Hall in Washington, D.C., according to Nola.
However, according to the theater’s website, Williams will not be appearing in shows from Jan. 31 to Feb. 3.
