Singer Beyonce Knowles finally spoke out on Kanye West's actions at the Video Music Awards last month.

West came up on stage after Taylor Swift was awarded the Best Female Video, grabbed the microphone from her and said he believed Beyonce had the best video leaving Swift speechless.

Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he's like, 'You have this award,' she told O: The Oprah Magazine editor-at-large Gayle King, reported.

When they didn't call my name he was, like, completely shocked, Knowles, 28, added. And when he walked on the stage, I was like, 'No, no, no!' and then he spoke, and I was like, 'Oh, no, no, no!'

Later in the show Knowles was awarded the Video of the Year Award and at that time she called Swift back on stage giving her the opportunity to finish her acceptance speech.

West announced he would be taking time off after the incident.
