“The Big Bang Theory” Season 10 aired an episode last week with a scene of Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) getting it on in Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) old bedroom.

In “The Veracity Elasticity,” Sheldon had a dream that his room was converted into a sex dungeon by his best friends, Leonard and Penny. When he went inside, Sheldon saw Leonard with his wrists tied, while Penny held what looked like a leather crop. The two were also wearing sexy roleplaying and BDSM attires.

Even though the episode aired in the United States, the scene was not greenlit for UK television. According to Mirror, advertisers banned Sheldon’s dream sequence so it didn't appear in last week’s episode of “The Big Bang Theory” Season 10.

After episode 7 aired, Cuoco shared a polaroid photo of the controversial sequence via her Instagram account.

Meanwhile, Galecki and Cuoco were very comfortable while acting out their steamy scene. After all, not only are the co-stars good friends, but they also happen to be ex-lovers. They dated for two years before calling it quits in 2009. Following their split, Cuoco told CBS Watch that she and her ex-boyfriend decided to keep their relationship private. “Everyone was always asking, and we deny-deny-denied. And I’m like, ‘Why am I denying this person that I love?’” she said.

Despite their breakup, Galecki and Cuoco still managed to confuse their fans with regards to their dating status. Earlier this year, they attended the People’s Choice Awards and were photographed canoodling with each other. After the event, Cuoco posted a photo slamming rumors that she got back together with Galecki. The actress used the hashtag, “not dating.”

“The Big Bang Theory” Season 10 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
