“The Big Bang Theory” star Jim Parsons has a new project up his sleeve.

According to Cinema Blend, the actor will play the role of BuzzFeed writer Matt Stopera in an upcoming movie. The film will focus on Stopera tracking down and meeting a man known as Brother Orange. Warner Bros. and BuzzFeed Motion Pictured teamed up with Parsons and the actor’s partner, Todd Spiewak, under That’s Wonderful Productions for the upcoming film.

The untitled movie will follow the events that took place in Stopera’s life in 2014 when his phone was stolen while he was at a bar in New York City. A year later, the phone landed in China, and it ended up in the hands of a man who took photos of himself while he was beside an orange tree. The photo appeared in the writer’s photo stream, and it encouraged him to write stories about his experience. When his story went viral in China, Stopera had the chance to meet the man who had his iPhone.

Meanwhile, the film will be executive produced by Stopera himself, his roommate Ilana Gazer, Jeff Kleeman and Ellen DeGeneres. The talk show host previously invited Stopera and Brother Orange on “The Ellen Show.” In April 2015, Stopera detailed how he and Brother Orange met. According to him, Chinese nationals who read his article on BuzzFeed made everything possible. After talking to each other, Stopera decided to fly to China to meet his newfound friend.

At one point, DeGeneres asked Brother Orange why he took so many photos of himself beside an orange tree. According to him, it was Chinese New Year and he wanted to buy some oranges.

As of late, the release date for Parsons’ upcoming movie hasn’t been confirmed.
