‘Big Brother’
Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf are looking forward to what’s in store for them following their stint in “Big Brother” Season 19. CBS

Remember the time when Cody Nickson told “Big Brother” host Julie Chen that he will marry Jessica Graf? Now the two Season 19 houseguests have reunited in the outside world and have the chance to eventually tie the knot.

But Cody also clarified during his exit interview with Entertainment Weekly that he did not mean he and Jessica will get married anytime soon. Instead, he was just pressured at the moment and blurted out what was on his mind. “I keep getting asked this! Listen, I just blacked out when Julie asked me that question. My heart was pounding and she caught me off guard,” he said.

On her Instagram account, Jessica shared a hilarious photo of herself with Cody seemingly scouting for rings. It is unclear whether or not they were really searching for an engagement ring because Cody didn’t look all too pleased in the snap. His head is placed over his eyes, and Jessica joked that that’s exactly how her boyfriend feels about all of the “ring talk.”

Last month, Cody and Jessica became the most talked about showmance in “Big Brother” Season 19 among CBS fans and critics. Some of them claimed that she gave up her game for a man she just met. Jessica had the “Halting Hex” while inside the house and Paul Abrahamian asked her to not use it. The returning vet promised Jessica that she will be safe for at least another week if she allowed them to evict Cody.

But Jessica decided to use her Den of Temptation win so she and Cody were safe. A week later, the house took offense with her decision and decided to vote her out. While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, she said that she just couldn’t turn her back on Cody.

“I couldn’t continue knowing I had to stab someone in the back that I completely trusted and be left with everyone else in house. I think that says a lot about my character,” she said.

This side of Jessica is what earned her a short gig on the soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Fans were also pleased with how Cody played the game, and he won $25,000 as America’s Favorite Houseguest.
