Billboard celebrated the 11th annual Women in Music event Friday in conjunction with the publication of Billboard’s Women in Music list, which recognizes the 100 most powerful female executives in the industry.

The evening was hosted by Hailee Steinfeld and featured celebrity appearances by Debbie Harry, Rita Ora, Nick Jonas, Zayn Malik, Sabrina Carpenter, Labrinth, Wrabel, Charli XCX, Daya, Bea Miller, Chloe + Halle, Idina Menzel, Regina Spektor, Hoda Kotb, DJ Cassidy, David Copperfield and Bozoma Saint John.

The marquee award, Woman of the Year, was presented to Madonna by Anderson Cooper. The seven-time Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and actress over the past year extended her own record as the highest-grossing female touring artist of all time ($1.3 billion earned throughout the years as reported to Billboard Boxscore) with her massive 82-show Rebel Heart tour.

Other honorees included Andra Day, Shania Twain, Halsey, Meghan Trainor, Maren Morris, Kesha and Alessia Cara.

Billboard Women in Music honors women in the music industry who have made significant contributions to the business and who, through their work and continued success, inspire generations of women.

The event, produced again by Charlie Haykel and Juliane Hare of Don Mischer Productions, airs Monday at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
