It all went according to plan for Red (James Spader) in episode 11 of "The Blacklist" Season 2. He got a nice payday from a French fuel company and a leaking fuel pipe was no longer poisoning a group of villages. However, things were not going so smoothly for Liz (Megan Boone), who was in some hot water after the search for the dockworker Tom (Ryan Eggold) murdered led back to her. How would it all go down in episode 12, “The Kenyon Family?”
According to the synopsis for the new episode, the next case on Red’s list will be a polygamous cult planning a string of terrorist attacks. Liz and the rest of the FBI team will go in to investigate when the mysterious leader of the cult disappears. Plus, the promo for the episode reveals that when something goes wrong, Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) will end up kidnapped – “The Blacklist” can never get enough kidnappings – and Red will be worried that people’s lives are in danger.

Meanwhile, in episode 11, the Metro Police were tracking down the harbormaster Tom killed in the midseason finale. Since Liz had met the harbormaster and given him her card -- while trying to keep him away from where she was holding Tom – she was suspected to be involved. The Metro Police brought in Samoan (Dante Nero) for questioning and, in exchange for staying out of prison himself, Samoan agreed at the end of the episode to take the cops to the harbormaster’s body and give up Liz.
Will the Metro Police investigation catch up with Liz in episode 12? Can she and Red stop the terrorist cult? Fans will have to wait to find out. “The Blacklist” airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
