The new Primo will be honored in Season 1, episode 12 of “Blood Drive.”

According to the synopsis for the next episode of the Syfy series, Slink (Colin Cunningham) throws the “ultimate mayhem party” for Arthur (Alan Ritchson), who was crowned as the new Primo at the end of last episode.

In a sneak peek from the upcoming episode, Slink explains to Arthur that the Primo tribute ceremony is “like the Olympics, the Emmys, the Fourth of July and a coronation all rolled into one.” Expecting to see more chicks than the usual, Arthur is excited for the event. But in true “Blood Drive” fashion, it looks like things won’t go as planned.

The episode synopsis reveals that Grace (Christina Ochoa), along with a mysterious newcomer, is going to fight for Arthur’s soul, so it’s likely that Grace will be popping up at the party to remind him of who he really is.

In Season 1, episode 11, Arthur was called into the Battle Dome to fight for his life as the final test for all the remaining Blood Drive contestants. Before the match started, Arthur told Grace that he wouldn’t ever kill again. Arthur tried to keep that promise as best he could, and that upset Old Man Heart (Sean Cameron Michael). In an attempt to push Arthur to kill, Old Man Heart took Grace as hostage.

While locked up in a cage, Grace asked Old Man Heart why he’s been so obsessed with her and her sister Karma (Alex McGregor). It was then revealed that Old Man Heart is actually Karma, who is seeking revenge on Grace after she left her for dead at the Kane Hill asylum.

To add more drama to the battle royale, Slink released Grace from her cage, and the sisters started to fight each other. Arthur thought he witnessed Grace falling into the car’s grinder. Thinking that he has nothing left to live for, Arthur snapped and started to kill people one after the other. Although Arthur realized that Grace is actually alive at the end of the fight, it’s already too late for her to bring him back.

Meanwhile, the trailer for the episode claims that the upcoming installment features “the most shocking depiction of true atrocity ever revealed to a television audience.” And in an interview with TVLine last month, Cunningham revealed that the episode includes a full frontal shot of him.

“I do full frontal … in episode 12, ‘Faces of Blood Drive,’” Cunningham said. “I pitched the idea to [executive producer] David Straiton and it totally works. We did it, we shot it and it made the cut!”

“Blood Drive” Season 1, episode 12 airs on Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 10 p.m. EDT on Syfy. Watch the sneak peek and the trailer for the episode below:
