Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of singers Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was recent spotted wearing an engagement ring, and many are speculating that it came from her unofficial adopted brother, Nick Gordon.

People.com is reporting that Bobbi Kristina, 19, was seen with a ring on her engagement finger, a little over a month after Houston died Feb. 11. Star magazine also reported the secret engagement and the diamond engagement ring.

The stories came out days after Bobbi Kristina and Gordon, 22, were seen sharing kisses and holding hands while out on an errand in the Atlanta area. They reportedly are living together in Houston's Atlanta house.

TMZ has reported that Houston adopted Gordon about 10 years ago after his parents could no longer take care of him. He has been living in the singer's Atlanta home ever since.

Yes, they are engaged, but the family is trying to coax her away from it, a source told People.

On Friday, People also reported that another source said Gordon asked Bobbi Kristina to marry him about a week ago. Bobbi Kristina is allegedly wearing a ring that once belonged to her mother. That source was uncertain if Bobbi Kristina accepted.

RadarOnline.com reported on Friday, that Bobbi Kristina told her grandmother, Cissy Houston, that she will marry Gordon.

Cissy Houston is said to be absolutely heartsick at the news.

Here's what a source reportedly told RadarOnline about the gospel singer's feelings.

This reminds her of when Whitney married Bobby Brown, whom Cissy has never approved of, the source said. Cissy has conveyed to Krissy how upset she is, and has urged her to have a prolonged engagement. Krissy has told her grandmother that she doesn't need her blessing to marry Nick, and the more Cissy objects to the relationship, well that only cements Krissy's decision.

It's just a very sad situation. Clearly, Krissy loves Nick, but she has just lost her mother, and her entire world has been turned upside down. Krissy doesn't think she needs to wait, and points to her mom's sudden death as the reason to marry Nick.
