Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend Nick Gordon was reportedly spotted drinking heavily recently. The news comes even as his girlfriend was moved to a hospice care in Atlanta from the DeKalb Medical facility last week. Gordon, who also faces a lawsuit that alleges he beat Bobbi Kristina and stole money from her, left rehab in April.
The source, cited by Daily Mail, said that Gordon’s progress has been far from smooth and that he has been spending an increasing amount of time with a 39-year-old woman, named Heather Posey, a mother of one. “I've seen them drinking together at her house. He portrays himself as a good citizen, grieving and whatever but I've seen him losing his temper. I've seen him drunk as a skunk, falling down drunk. That plastic cup that he carries round with him is full of vodka,” the source told Daily Mail.
“He's trying to portray himself as a good person but this guy's a liar. He's very dangerous and manipulative and I've seen his temper,” the source added.
Gordon has not been allowed to meet Bobbi Kristina as the latter's family believes that he has not revealed all the details about what happened on Jan. 31, when Bobbi Kristina was found facedown in the bathtub of the house she shared with Gordon.
Gordon may become part of a murder inquiry if Bobbi Kristina dies as the Fulton County prosecutors are now looking at the case with “greater interest,” the Daily Mail reported, citing Fulton County District Attorney Paul L. Howard Jr.
Last week, Bedelia C. Hargrove, Bobbi Kristina’s legal conservator, claimed that Gordon stole $11,000 from Bobbi Kristina's bank account while she was in coma. The lawsuit also claims that Bobbi Kristina was supposed to talk to a friend on Jan. 31 regarding abuse she faced at Gordon's hands, but earlier that day she was found unresponsive in the bathtub at her house in Atlanta, similar to how her mother Whitney Houston was found in 2012 in Beverly Hills.
Police officials found injuries on Bobbi Kristina’s body, but Gordon said that those were marks from his efforts of trying to revive her.
His close relative has reportedly shown support, alleging that Gordon has been made a "scapegoat" in the case. "It's scary for him, because he hasn't done anything wrong. He is completely innocent," his relative told People magazine last week, adding: "He has always cooperated with police, and he has nothing to hide. ... Anyone who looks at the facts would see that."
Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina's relatives from the Houston and Brown families gathered near her bedside after she was moved to the hospice care. Her father Bobby Brown flew her on a private plane to Chicago’s Northwestern University for a complete check-up before she was admitted into the hospice care. Bobby reportedly made the decision to take her off life support last week after experts concluded that nothing could be done to save the 22-year-old.
