Brazil begin their 2015 Copa America campaign on Sunday when they face Peru at Estadio Municipal Germán Becker in Temuco, Chile in a Group C match. Selecao are considered one of the favorites to win the South American tournament, and enter their first match with some of their top talent.

Coming off a demoralizing semifinals loss to Germany in the World Cup semifinals, Brazil hope to regain their swagger with a strong run in Chile. Head coach Dunga will have the services of superstar forward Neymar, who is coming off a fantastic season with Barcelona. Yet, the 23-year-old often looks his best with Brazil, having scored 43 goals in 63 appearances.

Dunga is expected to also use some other high-profile names, such as Philippe Coutinho, Willian and David Luiz on Sunday. Coutinho had a solid season with Liverpool in 2014-2015, and could be a top playmaker for Brazil in the tournament.

However, Dunga is aware that Brazil will not have an easy road to a title, as history has proven before.

"The Copa America is one of the hardest tournaments. Brazil went without winning it for 40 years until 1989," Dunga said at a press conference.

Peru boast some impressive names, as well. Striker Paolo Guerrero, who previously played for Corinthians, has enjoyed an accomplished career in the Brazilian league after starting his career with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. Guerrero has 21 goals in 53 appearances for Peru, and is expected to play the most important role for the underdogs.

Ricardo Gareca's squad also includes Jefferson Farfan, a veteran winger for Schalke 04, as well as longtime star Claudio Pizarro, who is currently with Bayern Munich. The 36-year-old forward made his Peru debut in 1999.
