Brigitte Nielsen in Car Accident with Suspected Drunk Driver

Actress Brigitte Nielsen was hospitalized after a three-car wreck in Los Angeles, Calif., Wednesday night -- which appears to have been caused by a drunk driver.

According to TMZ, Nielson sustained injuries to her neck and back after the Porsche she was driving was hit from behind by a woman in a Toyota Matrix. Neilsen's car pitched forward as a result, and hit the car in front of her.

The woman in the Toyota was reportedly arrested for suspicion of drunk driving, and sources told TMZ she blew well above .08 on a breathalyzer test.

Nielsen's injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. She is back home, her rep told TMZ. She's sore and resting.

A rep told Gossip Cop the actress was in pain but OK.

Nielsen is Danish-born model turned actress who rose to international fame in 1985 when she appeared alongside Sylvester Stallone in Rocky IV -- she married Stallone the same year, but they later divorced.

She has since appeared on multiple reality shows, including Flavor of Love, Celebrity Big Brother, and Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.
