Bruce Springsteen fans will be happy for a two-for-one announcement today, as the tour dates for his 2012 concert tour were released in addition to a new video for Death To My Hometown.

The 2012 eight-city Wrecking Ball tour will kick off August 18 in Boston and finishes in New Jersey on September 22.

According to Rolling Stone, the first half of the Wrecking Ball tour began on March 18 in Atlanta and ends May 2 in New Jersey.

Generally speaking, in the first half of the tour we usually emphasize the new album, Steve Van Zandt told Rolling Stone. The second half of the tour tends to loosen up a bit, get a little bit more spontaneous, a little bit crazier.

Tickets for the shows vary by location, but many will go on sale as soon as Friday, April 20 at Ticketmaster.com.

In addition to the tour dates, Springsteen release a new video for Death To My Hometown, showing a live performances from New York's Apollo Theater, South By Southwest and from March 18 in Atlanta.
