CBS drama “Bull” always finds a way to keep every episode more exciting than the last.

From the looks and sounds of the series’ upcoming seventh episode of Season 2, that statement continues to be true.

In the new episode, “No Good Deed,” which airs on the network on Tuesday, Nov. 7, “Bull (Michael Weatherly) is asked to help a teachers union represent a woman who is being prosecuted by the DA for helping an impoverished student pass an important test, but who may be the scapegoat for a larger cheating scandal,” the official synopsis reveals.

According to the promo, six teachers are being accused of cheating, but only one of them is being gone after. Of course, Bull is there to help her.

“I just want to keep you out of jail,” Bull reassures the teacher who’s being prosecuted.

That task might be harder than he thinks, though, as the promo teases that while the teachers are being suspected of cheating, they might just be “hiding something else.”

Things get even more difficult for Bull when a singled-out teacher decides to give in to the idea of being a scapegoat and confesses. Confession or not, Bull doesn’t believe she’s a bad person.

“It seems pretty clear you did it to help someone else,” Bull says to the teacher.

Either way, he and his team have a long road ahead of them to find a way to keep her out of jail. A road that’s clearly not without surprises.

“I did not see that coming,” Bull says at the end of the promo for the new episode.

Before the surprised-filled new episode arrives, let’s look back at what happened in the last episode, “The Exception to the Rule.”

Bull traveled to a small town to help out his high school sweetheart, Allison (Ali Marsh), who has cancer because of the chemicals from a local factory. Her son, and lawyer, found Bull and asked him to come help sue the factor, and so he did.

Bull reconnected with Allison and reminisced about their time together, but they also worked hard on the case to make sure the factory fixed their chemical issues and paid Allison, as well as the others who were sick because of the same reason, enough money to cover medical bills. In the end, the factory settled and paid everything that Bull asked them to.
