Calvin Harris is speaking out about his breakup with Taylor Swift.

The DJ had already briefly addressed the breakup on social media, but now he's delving into the effects of the split deeper. In an interview with British GQ, Harris talked about the difficulty of having a personal experience get dissected in public.

The “This Is What You Came For” producer added that he and Swift were successful at keeping their relationship out of the public eye and the “Bad Blood” singer agreed to his request that they keep their romance under wraps. Things got out of hand, however, when they called things off. Harris described the split as a time when “all hell broke loose.”

Harris stood by what he said when he announced the breakup on Twitter, which claims that he and Swift parted on good terms. He regrets that he “succumbed to pressure” after the relationship, though, and wishes he did not say the things he said about Swift not wanting credit for her involvement in Rihanna's track.

Shortly after they broke up and the controversy involving Rihanna's song came out, Harris said some interesting things that may have been divulged to him by Swift with confidence that he will not reveal them. Harris addressed the feud between Swift and Katy Perry in a tweet. The DJ said that he understands that Swift can no longer come for Perry but he did not appreciate that she was targeting him.

Harris and Swift dated for over a year before calling it quits. Swift moved on with “Thor: Ragnarok” actor Tom Hiddleston. After three months of a heavily publicized romance, the two called it quits. Swift reportedly broke off the relationship because she wanted to keep the romance private but Hiddleston wanted to be more open about it. Harris is currently being linked to Mexican singer-actress Eiza Gonzalez, although a source told E! News that the music producer is also seeing other people.
