Cameron Douglas, son of Oscar-winning actor Michael Douglas, has been sentenced to 4 ½ more years in prison, according to the New York Post.

The 33-year-old actor, who was sentenced in April 2010 to five years for drug trafficking, was dealt the additional sentence for possessing drugs while in prison Wednesday in a Manhattan federal courthouse, the Post reported.

Douglas's mother, Diandra Douglas, attended the hearing, and was wracked with distress after the sentence was read aloud, the paper reported, but his father was not in attendance.

The convicted meth dealer was also hit with a $4,000 fine, a two-year ban on family visits, and will be subjected to treatment for drug addiction, the paper reported.
