Fifth Harmony just released their first single without Camila Cabello, “Down,” and the catchy tune is quickly climbing the charts.

While the group has experienced rapid success with their new song, their former group member took to Twitter to share a glimpse of her solo journey.

On Friday, Cabello shared a video of a behind-the-scenes look at her “Crying in the Club” music video. “Making the video for crying in the club was one of the most intense, fun things I’ve ever done,” Cabello tweeted alongside a video.

In the video, Cabello is seen in black and white walking on set as she speaks over the scene. “Life just has its seasons, you know. Flowers can’t bloom all the time, and the sun can’t be out all the time, and it can’t be summer all the time and in life, there’s just always gonna be highs and lows,” she stated.

“There really is no way, at the core, to ease the pain that you feel in that moment. You just have to really allow yourself to feel it and just know that you’re going to get through it and it’s not gonna last forever,” the star added.

While announcing the release date of her new single in May, Cabello revealed that her debut solo album, “The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving,” will be a reflection of her journey “from darkness into light.”

While Cabello is still reflecting on her journey to happiness, Fifth Harmony seemed to be in great spirits during their Friday appearance on “Good Morning America.”

In between their performances for the show’s summer concert series, the group chatted with anchors about their music and even revealed that they are happy to be a quartet following Cabello’s exit in December 2016.

“It’s a new era! It’s been really incredible because we’ve been in the studio the past few months really working hard on our album, we’ve been creating, we’ve been writing. It’s been really amazing, we’ve been having so much fun,” Fifth Harmony member Ally Brooke Hernandez said.

The group performed several of their hit songs including “Worth It,” “Work From Home” and their new single “Down” featuring Gucci Mane, which climbed to number three on iTunes just hours after its release.

“#3 on ITUNES RN WTF,” 5H member Lauren Jauregui tweeted shortly after the song’s debut. “GMA” host Michael Strahan noted that following the group’s performance, it’s likely that fans will make “Down” number one on the music charts.

While chatting with the hosts, Dinah Jane Hansen teased that the group has been working with several producers and has a song coming out with Skrillex. “It’s been great to work with them in these studios and just to be involved as an artist is so important,” the singer said.

Cabello previously explained that she had issues about not being able to write her own music while in the group. During an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 Radio, the “Bad Things” singer reflected on the moment that she knew she needed to leave the group.

“I think that happened to me as I was discovering my voice as an artist. Especially as a songwriter. I felt like I needed to express that. And it was just time to sing my story and sing words that were coming from my heart as opposed to words that people were writing for us,” she explained.

Even though Cabello and Fifth Harmony are now on separate journeys, it looks like the two parties are content with their rides down different paths.
