Jeremy Renner was recently photographed on the sets of the forthcoming “Captain America: Civil War.” The actor will reprise his role of Hawkeye from “The Avengers: Age of Ultron.” Unlike Chris Evans and Frank Grillo, Renner was not seen in his costume in the photos. He appeared to be hiding his costume under a black cloak. In another set photos, Renner was seen walking with a bag in his hand and was seen dressed up in casual wear. He had headphones around his neck and was wearing sunglasses.

According to MTV, Hawkeye might join Captain America in the latter’s fight with Crossbones. Recently, set photos showing Captain America fighting Crossbones were revealed. The action sequence was filmed in Atlanta, where Renner joined the shooting Tuesday.

The Hawkeye character has extraordinary archery skills. His alter ego, Clint Barton, is an exceptional acrobat and marksman.

Renner first appeared as Hawkeye in 2011's “Thor.” He also appeared in 2012's "The Avengers" and this year's sequel, "The Avengers: Age of Ultron.” In the sequel, Hawkeye has more interaction with the other Avengers. Hawkeye has always been portrayed as a loner, and “Age of Ultron” explores why he is like that.

“[Hawkeye] is kind of a loner anyway, and he’s a team player only 'cause he sort of has to be. He’s not really a company man. Captain America can be that guy. In ["Age of Ultron"] you'll understand why [Hawkeye] thinks the way he thinks,” Renner had said about his character, reported Fandango. It is not known how will Hawkeye be placed in “Captain America: Civil War;” however it is speculated that he will be in Captain America’s team.

“Captain America: Civil War” is scheduled to be released May 6, 2016, in 3D and Imax. The events in the film take place after “The Avengers: Age of Ultron.” Brothers Anthony and Joe Russo will direct the film, whose screenplay is written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
