Steve Rogers (aka Captain America) will finally get to fight Crossbones in “Captain America: Civil War.” Leaked photos from the set shows the two characters in hand-to-hand combat -- and the superhero may have his hands full in the upcoming movie. [Spoiler alert]

Crossbones may not have Rogers’ super strength, but his gear may help him to take on the superhero. These leaked photos from the set show the character punching Rogers so hard that the hero falls back a few feet. Crossbones is played by Frank Grillo, while Rogers is played by Chris Evans.

More photos and a video of the fight scene can be seen in a report by the New York Daily News. The video shows Rogers having fallen to the ground and Crossbones pressing his attack. The two actors hug each other after filming the scene. The report also includes friendly banter by the two actors.

Crossbones, aka Brock Rumlow, has a long connection to Steve Rogers in the comic books. The villain rose to power working under Red Skull, the main villain in the 2011 movie from the franchise, played by actor Hugo Weaving.

One story line in the comics shows Crossbones being the one who assassinates Rogers, after Rogers surrenders and is charged with several crimes against the state. However, the “Captain America: Civil War” movie may not show this part of the comic book story.

There will be a death scene in the upcoming movie and previous reports confirmed that the one to die in the movie is Margaret “Peggy” Carter, played by Hayley Atwell in the 2011 movie. This photo from the set shows a pamphlet that talks about the funeral of Peggy at St. Luke’s Cathedral.

It is still unclear how the character dies in “Captain America: Civil War” and who the killer is. Apart from Crossbones, the movie will also feature Bucky Barnes; who is also known as the Winter Soldier. This photo from the production set shows the character in full costume in the movie.
