Fox's “The X Factor” has gotten more intense now that the contestants have moved onto boot camp, but 13-year-old Carly Rose Sonenclar didn’t let the pressure get to her on the second round of boot camp, which premiered Thursday night.

Carly started with “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone and had the judges wrapped around her fingers before the music even came on.

Music producer L.A. Reid sat back in his seat and yelled, “What?” at hearing the girl's voice for the first time.

Carly effortlessly sang the classic ballad and gave her own twist to the song, which she picked out herself to sing for “The X Factor” judges.

She exuded confidence, and when she showed up to the boot camp audition, she didn’t disappoint.

This time around she went for a modern hit, “Pumped Up Kicks,” by Foster The People, that she sang with another “X Factor” contestant Beatrice Miller.

Beatrice Miller is also 13 years old and similarly got four yeses from the judges.

After their rendition of “Pumped Up Kicks” tweeters took to the Twitterverse to write how impressed they were with the young girls, but most of the praise went to Sonenclar.
