Casey Anthony's father George told Phil Dr. Phil McGraw he believes Casey killed her daughter Caylee, repudiating jurors who found Casey not guilty and astonishing his wife Cindy.

In an emotionally charged appearance on Dr. Phil, George said that Casey had intentionally sedated Caylee so that she could go out and have a good time with her friends. Throughout Casey's trial, lawyers painted a similar picture of her as a negligent mother who was busy partying even after Caylee had gone missing.

Inside of my heart, I don't believe that Caylee drowned, George told Dr. Phil in reference to Casey's claim -- accepted by the jury -- that Caylee had died in the family pool. I believe there's something else that happened to her...I believe that Casey or someone else that she was with possibly gave too much [drugs] to Caylee ... she fell asleep and didn't wake up.

George Anthony continued that the fact that Caylee's remains were found in a trash bag, with duct tape over her mouth, undercut the story of Caylee dying in the swimming pool.

If this scenario that Casey had told to her defense about Caylee drowning [were true] why go through all this elaborate stuff -- to tape her up, to put her in a laundry bag, put her in a trash bag? he asked.

Cindy Anthony said that she had never heard George level such accusations and pronounced herself really kind of shocked to hear that today, adding that she believed that Casey was innocent.

I believe justice for Caylee was when her mother walked because I know the love that those two had and I know Caylee's soul would never have rested knowing her mother had been vilified for her death, Cindy Anthony said.
