“Castle” just set a date! After Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Kate Beckett’s (Stana Katic) first try at matrimony went south in the Season 6 finale of the ABC show, fans were left wondering when the couple would try again. A promo that aired after the latest episode on Monday invited fans to the wedding they have been waiting for all summer.

TV Line obtained a promo for the Nov. 10 episode that confirms episode 6 as the much-anticipated wedding. That leaves only two weeks before fans finally get to see what will ultimately be a much simpler ceremony than the one originally planned. Unlike the first attempt, this wedding will be a success.

The promo had a few more secrets to spill as well. Nov. 10 will also be the much-anticipated alternate reality episode of “Castle.” In this alternate universe, Castle and Beckett would never have met. The promo teases Beckett not even recognizing her fiancé. The gag should serve as a fun and ironic twist before the two ultimately come together for good.

The following episode, on Nov. 17, will add to the wedding fever, giving fans a “Castle”-style honeymoon. Episode 7 will be a Wild West-themed honeymoon for the newly married couple with the promo teasing some fun and games reminiscent of “City Slickers.”

So, the wait is over and, with the honeymoon, it looks like fans will have two episodes to enjoy the long-awaited union between their two favorite characters. Viewers will have to wait a few more weeks to see the wedding finally go down. “Castle” airs Mondays at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
