Pop music diva Mariah Carey celebrates her 46th birthday on Sunday. While it remains to be seen how the “We Belong Together” songstress will bring in her big day, many of her fans may want to celebrate right alongside her. Help us ring in Carey’s birthday by learning some fun facts about her career, love life, upcoming reality show and more!

Awards

Carey has scored dozens of awards for her music since busting onto the music scene in the late 1980s. She’s won five Grammys, her latest being in 2005 for best female R&B vocal performance for “We Belong Together.” In 1990, she received her first two Grammy awards for best new artist and best pop vocal performance, female for “Vision of Love.” Just over 30 of Carey’s musical wins have come from the Billboard Music Awards. Carey last hit the Billboard stage in May 2015 to perform her single “Infinity.”

Carey’s acting talents have also been recognized. Her role playing a social worker in 2010’s “Precious” earned her and her co-stars a nomination for outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture by the SAG Awards. The Screen Actors Guild also nominated Carey and her “The Butler” cast members in the same category in 2014.

Bride To Be

Carey is about to walk down the aisle. After one year of dating, businessman James Packer purposed to the singer and mother of two in January. Carey gushed about her fiancé — and 35-carat ring — several days after he popped the question, telling E! she was “feeling fantastic” about her engagement.

This is Carey’s third marriage. She married music executive Tommy Mattola in 1993 and rapper/actor Nick Cannon in 2008. She and Cannon share two children together, 4-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan.

Reality Star

After her short stint serving as a judge on “American Idol” in 2013, Carey is jumping back into the reality TV game. E! announced this month that Carey will star in the docuseries “Mariah’s World.” The program will follow her tour in Europe and South Africa and touch on her relationship with Packer. “Each episode will grant VIP access to Mariah like never before, featuring intimate moments with her family, friends and inner circle that keeps Mariah at the top of her game,” the network teased.

Net Worth

It is wildly reported that Carey has a net worth of $520 million. If that wasn’t enough cash, Carey’s husband-to-be is also extremely wealthy. People reports he’s worth $4.7 billion and is estimated to be the fourth-richest individual in his native Australia.

Tattoos

Surprisingly, one of the things Carey’s fans are most interested about is her tattoo. After her split from Cannon in 2014, she changed her butterfly lower back tattoo to cover up her ex’s name. Photos from the Daily Mail show Carey sporting her newly adjusted ink during an outing in Paris in June 2015. Cannon, who had a tattoo of his ex-wife’s name on his back as well, also covered up his ink after their split.

Social Media

While Carey doesn’t appear to be into Snapchat anymore, she is active on other social media platforms. Fans can keep up with the performer on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Carey frequently thanks her fans for their support after concerts online. Her Instagram account, which has 3.4 million followers and counting, includes behind-the-scenes shots from her tour and frequent photos of her with her children.
