After a 1-0 Manchester United victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last week, the second leg of the quarter-finals shifts to Old Trafford tonight, in a battle of two Premier League giants.

Manchester United may have felt somewhat fortunate to have not conceded a goal in the first leg when Frank Lampard's shot went directly at Patrice Evra who was the only barrier between the ball and the net.

The Red Devils got what they wanted: a win and a coveted away goal. This has been a great season for Manchester United, and now they have a very fit squad.

The Blues will try to reverse their fortunes with a victory, something that might salvage a rather disappointing season. A big question is whether Fernando Torres will find his way into the starting 11.

The Spanish forward has been in a major slump, having been held scoreless in his last 11 matches, a drought that dates back to January 22nd when he played for Liverpool.

But Chelsea have other weapons who have been quiet. Nicolas Anelka hasn't scored in six games, and Didier Drogba has only scored once in thirteen matches.

Those three players are due. However, they will face one of the best defenses in the world, with central defenders Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand.

After a long absence, Ferdinand has impressed his boss coming off his injury.

[Ferdinand] has composure on the ball, said manager Sir Alex Ferguson, about Ferdinand's first-leg performance. He didn't panic. He handled everything. That was probably one of his best performances in a United jersey last week. It was magnificent.

Vidic and Ferdinand, along with goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar, will be tested, because Carlo Ancelotti's squad will be desperate to score.

PREDICTION: Lampard knew he had chances to score at Stamford Bridge, and didn't make the best of them. Tonight, there's a good chance he will redeem himself with a goal or an assist. Lampard has too much pride to go down with a fight against Manchester United. But a rested Wayne Rooney can also be expected to be aggressive in Red Devils' attack. Expect him to work his magic again.

SCORE PREDICTION: Manchester United 1, Chelsea 1. (Manchester United will advance on aggregate, 2-1.)
