In Channing Tatum’s interview for the August issue of Vanity Fair, he talks about more than family and fatherhood. He also gave fans a glimpse of his past and some commentary on whether he’ll ever strip onstage again.

The “Magic Mike XXL” star, who was once known as Chan Crawford, says his stripping days are numbered, reports E!News. After filming two movies about a male stripper, Tatum says he’ll probably strip onstage “one more time or maybe twice,” but added he would "never say never” since plans to “start a [Magic Mike] show in Vegas” are underway, and the actor doesn’t mind “going out there."

Long before Tatum became an actor, he "...started dancing at Joy, a nightclub in Tampa. The group was called Male Encounter,” recalled the actor in Vanity Fair's August issue. The “Step Up” star also shared that every time he put on his thongs and got ready to walk onstage, he thought "Why do I want to do this?" Tatum added, “It's very uncomfortable to be in a thong in front of a thousand people." The star also admitted that it would be awkward to wear it in front of his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum.

The 35-year-old actor also discussed his daughter’s arrival in May 2013 and how his wife Dewan-Tatum is a “Super Mom," reported Us Weekly. Their first child was born at a London hospital, and it was a moment that Tatum couldn’t forget. "It was crazy. You feel helpless...My wife, she’s a warrior. She did it as natural as you can,” he told the magazine. And after overcoming his initial fears of how to take care of a baby, the couple have fallen into parenthood with ease. Tatum admits he loves being a dad.

The two first met in 2006 while filming Step Up. The couple tied the knot in July 2009.
