When and where: The Premier League encounter kicks-off from Stamford Bridge at 12.30 p.m. ET. Live coverage will be provided by the Fox Soccer Channel, with a delayed online stream available later in the day via a free subscription on FoxSoccer2Go.

Preview: They may have taken maximum points from their opening two fixtures, but it has been far from smooth sailing for Chelsea so far in their Premier League campaign. Even the most ardent fan will have realized that the Blues were lucky to come away with a victory on Wednesday against Reading.

The newly-promoted side gave Chelsea's defense plenty of problems before an offside goal from Fernando Torres gave the Champions League winners a decisive late lead.

Despite the six points, Roberto Di Matteo will doubtless have concerns with the way his defense has started the season. For the third game running the back line will be altered on Saturday, with the returning David Luiz set to replace injured captain John Terry.

While the defense has looked suspect there is plenty of optimism about Chelsea's attacking potential. Eden Hazard has slipped seamlessly into life in the Premier League, already contributing four assists. With Juan Mata looking like continuing his form from a fine debut season and Brazilian Oscar yet to make his full debut, there is sure to be plenty of excitement at Stamford Bridge this season.

The transfers of Victor Moses and right-back Cesar Azpilicueta were also confirmed on Friday, though neither will be involved on Saturday.

While Chelsea will have plenty to worry Newcastle, manager Alan Pardew's biggest concern may well be how his players will respond to playing less than 48 hours after competing in a Europa League tie in Greece.

Newcastle will be hoping for a repeat of last season's encounter when they won 2-0 courtesy of two stunning goals from Papiss Cisse. Having struggled since the arrival of his fellow- Senegalese striker in January, Demba Ba scored in an opening day win against Tottenham to suggest he may reignite his goal scoring form.

Chelsea (probable)

G: Cech

D: Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz, Cole

M: Mikel, Lampard

Ramires, Hazard, Mata

F: Torres

Newcastle (probable)

G: Krul

D: Simpson, Coloccini, Taylor, Santon

M: Ben Arfa, Tiote, Cabaye, Gutierrez

F: Cisse, Ba

Prediction: In the unusual situation of playing twice in 48 hours, Newcastle will hope to not be overly affected as Pardew made wholesale changes to the side on Thursday evening. If they are at their best, Newcastle are more than capable of causing Chelsea plenty of problems. With the attacking quality on show in both teams, the match could provide an entertaining score draw.
