Chris Brown is currently out of jail on bail after being arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, and some of his celebrity friends have come out to defend him.

Actress KeKe Palmer was one of several celebrities who posted messages, saying in a video that people need to leave the R&B singer alone. “I really wish folks would stop messing with Chris Brown on some real s---,” she said in a video, which was posted to Instagram. “I don’t know nobody’s business … I’m not saying [he’s] perfect. I don’t know him like that but I mean, we should pray for motherf------ instead of hating them.”

“I wish we could just stop judging folks and really try to ask ‘What’s wrong? What’s going on? What do you need?’ I grew up on that man, and it ain’t cool when you have to see people that inspired you get teared down,” added Palmer.

50 Cent also stuck up for Brown, 27, and couldn’t believe what he was charged with. “I have a different relationship with Chris,” wrote the G-Unit leader. “That’s my boy. I watched him come up. A lot of the s--- he go through is crazy to me.”

“If you're not safe at home, when do you get a break? If someone calls 911 and says you pulled a gun on them in your house, are the police coming to create a bunker at the end of your driveway for 11 hours to wait for a search warrant? Then live stream it? This must be VIP treatment,” said 50.

Lil Mama is another person who thought Brown was treated unfairly, and she warned people not to jump to conclusions. In addition, the “Sausage” rapper said both celebrities and the singer’s fans need to protect him.

“I don’t know the right thing to say right now, but I do know that we need to support Chris Brown right now,” she said on Tuesday. “We need to stand in his corner. We need to make sure that he is taken care of properly. We can deal with mental, physical, spiritual help. Personal help later but right now we need to make sure he’s protected, because it’s just an allegation.”

Ray J — who was at Brown’s house during the alleged incident — provided his take and said the rumors that Brown pulled a gun on accuser Baylee Curran are false. According to the former beauty queen, the singer grew angry after she began looking at a diamond necklace, and that's when he pulled the gun.

“People can take a false story and blow it up into something way more than what it should be,” Ray Jay said Tuesday. “I support the homie Chris, and I support the whole movement. This s--- gotta change. It can’t be like this every time somebody yippin’ and yappin’ trying to get an extra buck.”

The “Sexy Can I” singer also sat down with “Entertainment Tonight” on Tuesday and said Brown’s arrest really bothered him. “It hurts my feelings that you work so hard to try to get better, and a small little lint of a story that you don’t even know is even real or not can affect you this much without even getting the facts.”

According to ABC News, Brown was released on $250,000 bail on Tuesday night and will face a judge on Sept. 20.
