Chuwi Hi12 Release Imminent, Leaked Photos Surface

Chuwi Hi12 is a well-known Chinese brand that specializes in manufacturing high-end tablets and 2-in-1 devices. The Chinese brand is said to have manufactured a new tablet called Chuwi Hi12 and its release seems to be imminent.

Chuwi Hi12 will be featuring a 12-inch display and it will be arriving in two colors. The Champagne Gold variant will have a white front whereas the Space Grey variant will be arriving black front, Giz China reported.

The front side of the device will feature a tempered glass surface. On the rear, the tablet features a metal case. According to leaked information that has surfaced on XDA Developers, the 12-inch display of Chuwi Hi12 will be supporting 1920 x 1200 pixels’ resolution. It is expected to feature Intel Cherry Trail chip that will be coupled with 4 GB of RAM.

The device will arrive preinstalled with Windows 10 OS. The images show that the tablet will allow users to attach an optional keyboard. For connectivity, it features 2 USB 2.0 ports, a microSD card slot, a microUSB slot and USB-Type C connector.

In the recent past, Chuwi has released two tablets, the Hi8 and Hi10. The Hi8 tablet features an 8-inch display with support for Android 4.4 and Windows 10 OS. It is powered by Intel Bay Trail that is supported by 2 GB of RAM. There is another variant of the tablet called Hi8 Pro that runs only on Windows 10 and comes with Intel Cherry Trail Z8300 chip.

The Chuwi Hi10 is a 10-inch display device that is also powered by Intel Cherry Trail Z8300 chipset and 2 GB of RAM. It runs on Windows 10 OS. The other variant of the tablet called Hi10 Dual OS is a tablet PC device that also runs on Win 10 and can be used with a detachable keyboard.
