Cinco de Mayo is just days away, and what better way to celebrate Mexico’s victory over French forces in 1862 than by enjoying margaritas and Coronas with friends? For those who live in Las Vegas or those just visiting, here are our picks of the best parties Sin City has to offer.

Hussong’s Cantina, 3930 S. Las Vegas Blvd.

Hussong’s, located at the Shoppes at Mandalay Place, has $36 Corona Light Beer Towers and $20 buckets of Corona. The best part? The deal began on April 10 and will continue through May 5. The popular tourist destination also will have a mariachi band and an appearance by Pee-wee Herman at 7 p.m. Tuesday to lead a “Tequila" dance.

Cabo Wabo Cantina, 3663 S. Las Vegas Blvd., #160

The Las Vegas outpost of rocker Sammy Hagar’s restaurant chain -- located at the Planet Hollwood resort -- will have tequila specials and live music. Drink specials will include three sample shots of Cabo Wabo tequila for $21 and a selection of beers and margaritas for $14. Patrons also will have access to the chain’s signature dishes, like the $14.95 nacho platter and the cilantro jalapeño chicken for $17.95.

The Salted Lime, 7300 N. Aliante Parkway

Drink specials will run from 5 to 9:30 p.m. on May 5 at the Salted Lime, located at the Aliante Casino and Hotel. Cazadores tequila shots will be on the house between 5 and 7 p.m. A mariachi band will play until 9:30, and the restaurant will continue its popular Taco Tuesday promotion, offering delicious ground beef crispy tacos for $1.50 each.

Hecho en Vegas, 3799 S. Las Vegas Blvd.

Located at the MGM Grand, Hecho in Vegas will host interactive margarita- and guacamole-making demonstrations Tuesday along with three-course lunches and tequila pairings. The event will start at 2 p.m. and costs $75.

Rhumbar, 3400 S. Las Vegas Blvd.

The stylish lounge, located at the entrance of the Mirage, will throw a patio party with a DJ. Specials will run from 2 to 6 p.m. and will include Cruzan crush daiquiris, Coors Light and vodka cocktails for $5. Pitchers of Cruzan punch and buckets of Coors Light will be available for $25, along with unlimited hookahs for $65. The DJ will play from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Rockhouse, 3355 S. Las Vegas Blvd.

Located at the Venetian, Rockhouse will be serving tacos for $1.50, as well as $5 tequila shots and $7 margaritas.

Carlos'n Charlie’s, 3555 S. Las Vegas Blvd.

Carlos'n Charlie’s, located at the Flamingo Las Vegas, has a spacious patio, bar and DJs who'll spin music from the '70s and '80s. The restaurant usually runs its happy hour from 2-6 p.m., featuring two-for-one frozen margaritas in mango or passion fruit, $5 shots of El Jimador tequila and $10.50 Shakearitas.
