Cindy Crawford and her supermodel pals from the 1990s reunited for a short film with celebrated photographer Peter Lindbergh. The 49-year-old along with fellow supermodels Eva Herzigova and Helena Christiansen have featured in the photographer’s new short film, titled “The Reunion,” for Nowness channel as part of it Director’s Cut series.

The mother of two took to Instagram and shared a picture of the group of five posing on the beach. The group of models also included Karen Alexander, Nadja Auermann and Tatjana Patitz, Hello reported .

All the women were dressed in similar bath robes in white, and were standing barefoot on the beach. “The reunion! #BTS with@therealpeterlindbergh. Director's cut video up on @nowness today...More to come,” Crawford captioned the picture.

Meanwhile, the short film sees Lindbergh busy with his camera, clicking the models in his signature black-and-white portraits. He is known for helping catapult the stars to worldwide fame.

In the pictures from the photoshoot, the leggy models appear to be still looking like runway queens from the 90s, as they pose for the camera and smoulder with their looks. They all pose in oversized knit sweaters for the nostalgic black-and-white shoot.

In the final shot, in which the group is reunited, they are spotted laughing and chatting together, reminiscing about the early days of their careers, and using the opportunity to catch up with each other.

Crawford gushed about Lindbergh, and said that all of them agreed to work for his photoshoot and the short film for the immense energy that the 70-year-old exuberated. She added that he loved women, which is reflected in his work.

“He really sees the beauty in a mature woman,” she said, adding that Lindbergh's view of a mature woman is one, who gained through experience, through having children, through heartbreaks, through love and through many other things.

Lindbergh also took to Instagram and shared a picture of the group of the beautiful women. He told his followers that there would be more pictures from the shoot.
