Los Angeles Clippers rookie forward Blake Griffin continued his sensational campaign with an NBA season-high 47-point outburst during a 114-107 win over the Indiana Pacers on Monday.

Griffin added 14 rebounds to extend his streak of at least 10 points and 10 rebounds to 27 games, the fourth-longest streak in the last 25 seasons.

I just wanted to come out and execute, and luckily it felt good right out of the gate, Griffin told reporters. You can win the so-called big games, but we (have to win games like this).

The top pick in the 2009 draft, Griffin missed the entire 2009-2010 season with a knee injury but has burst onto the scene with his high-flying dunks and athletic rebounding.
