CraveOnline reports, however, that online viewers won't be able to see some of the acts, including Blur, Of Monsters & Men and Wu-Tang Clan.
This year marks the 14th anniversary of the festival, and since it has become such a big hit, Coachella has been divided into two weekends: April 12-14 and April 19-21.
According to the Mercury News, nearly 80,000 people per day will show up for a festival that sold out in less than an hour -- not bad for an event that almost died in its first year, when a measly 10,000 people attended.
General admission for 2013 went for $349, and VIP tickets cost a whopping $799.
Coachella has been known to attract many of Hollywood's hottest stars, like Katy Perry, Rihanna, Vanessa Hudgens, Kate Bosworth, Fergie and Lauren Conrad. It has been rumored that Lindsay Lohan planned to go into rehab in the beginning of May just so she wouldn't miss the annual California music event.
KCRW music director Jason Bentley, host of "Morning Becomes Eclectic," told the Mercury News that he thinks Coachella is ideal for all sorts of music enthusiasts.
"The nice thing about Coachella is that it's a real music-lovers' festival," he said. "It's not limited to one genre. Also, bands know that it can be a real game-changer for your career.”
Some of the acts scheduled to perform include:
Blur, The Stone Roses, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Modest Mouse, Tegan and Sara, Of Monsters and Men, Dam-Funk, DJ Harvey, Phoenix, the XX, the Postal Service, Moby, Descendents, Franz Ferdinand, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Wu-Tang Clan, Pretty Lights, the Lumineers, Dead Can Dance, La Roux and the Gaslight Anthem.
