Australian Cody Simpson is only 14 years old, but he is already being dubbed by media as the "new Justin Bieber".

The Youtube-discovered singer, with pouty lips and golden hair, has gained a huge fan following.

Simpson started his US Tour Friday, and kicked off with a performance. A swarm of screaming girls were outside the Rockefeller Plaza in New York City for the Today Show's morning program.

'I just tweeted and said "hey guys come down, I'm performing",' said Cody regarding how many people were gathered.
